Overview

This policy covers both WordPuzzleFree.com and Braino, our iOS app of the same 100 puzzle games. The website and the app are handled separately below, because the app shows rewarded video ads and the website shows none.

The Braino App

Braino plays entirely on your device. There is no account, no login, and your game progress, scores and hints are stored only on your iPhone or iPad and are never sent to us. We operate no server and we receive no data about you.

The one exception is advertising. Braino gives three free hints per game; beyond that, a hint can be earned by watching a short rewarded video. Those videos are served by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, the AdMob SDK collects data on Google's behalf, which may include:

• Device identifiers and coarse location (derived from your IP address)
• Device and app information, such as iOS version and app version
• Advertising and diagnostic data — which ads were shown, watched or tapped, and crash or performance data from the ad SDK

This data is used to deliver and measure advertising. It is not linked to your identity, and we never see it — it goes to Google, not to us. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.

Tracking and Your Choice

The first time you open Braino, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track you across other companies' apps and websites. This is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and your answer decides what the ads can do:

• If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier may be used to personalise the rewarded video ads and measure them across other apps and websites.
• If you decline, the advertising identifier is not used and the ads you see are not personalised. Everything else in the app works exactly the same — no feature is withheld, and you still get your hints.

Declining costs you nothing, and you can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device, or turn it off for every app at once with Allow Apps to Request to Track.

If you never run out of hints, no ad is requested and nothing leaves your device. Every game keeps working offline with no connection at all.

The Website: Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No account registration or login is required
• No names, emails, or contact details are collected
• No cookies are used
• No tracking pixels or analytics scripts are loaded
• No data is sent to any server

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save your game progress (scores, puzzle completion, best times). This data:

• Stays entirely on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Contains no personal information
• Can be cleared at any time via your browser settings

Third-Party Services

The website uses no third-party services, analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media trackers. All game assets (fonts, images, scripts) are self-hosted. The Braino app uses Google AdMob for rewarded videos only, as described above.

Children's Privacy

Our games are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Braino is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. On iOS, the tracking prompt is not shown to users under 18, so for those users the advertising identifier is never used and the ads are not personalised.
